About Dewey Parker

Dewey began performing standup and improv comedy in Shanghai, China. Over his 4 year stint there, he became a local fan favourite for his likable nature, original humour, and energetic, memorable performances. He headlined sold-out standup shows around China, hosted a weekly open mic and weekend showcase, and performed improv comedy with two teams: Empire Improv, and the People's Republic of Comedy.

Now, Dewey has returned to his home in Winnipeg, Canada to continue his silliness. Thank goodness all his jokes are in English! He has performed at Rumor’s Comedy Club, Yuk Yuk’s, and Don’t Tell Comedy, and appears regularly around town. He also performs as part of Tectonic Improv, who recently won the Winn-City Improv Cage Match.
